Leonard McCarthy acquired Caribou Cove in 2011. With family and friends in mind he started his adventure. For 10 years Leonard brought to Caribou Cove his passion for hunting and a personality to make any camp experience one to remember. He made extensive repairs and added infrastructure and equipment to enhance the trip and better accommodate the people who visit.

In the spring of 2022 Leonard passed on this opportunity onto Andrew Locke. “I’d like to thank Leonard very much for allowing me to have this wonderful opportunity to enjoy the outdoors with others not only in the fall but year round. Our doors will always be open to Leonard and we look forward to when he can take the time to come visit for a hunt or just some time away.
